Bespoke Designs at Fiona Rose
Bespoke Designs at Fiona Rose are on a made to order basis and are in complete collaboration with you, our client. We hand craft your garments in our NYC atelier.
These are the steps:
-
Design & Consultation
- Every custom project begins with a design conversation. You and a member of our design team will have a free consultation, through our website booking, to discuss exactly what you are looking for.
- We ask that you put together as many images as you would like, that inspire you so that we have an idea what you are looking for.
- After the initial meeting, we will provide you with a deck of designs. You then will have the freedom to critique and guide us towards your perfect garment.
- With the Bespoke nature of this process, we can have more than one design meeting to perfect your design.
- Depending on your location, we will measure you at this meeting or send you to a tailor in your area that we trust to measure you.
- After we finalize your vision, you will receive a Design Proposal outlining the direction of the garment. Once approved by all parties, we begin with fittings and garment construction.

Payments & Booking
A 50% deposit is required to begin the project and secure your place in the production schedule. This deposit covers materials, development, and labor. The following 25% will be required after the first fitting or approved sample, and the remaining balance, plus the total sales tax, is due once the garment is completed and before pickup. Payments may be made via Cash, Zelle, or wire transfer. -
Fittings
Your garment is made to your body, so fittings are essential.- Fitting #1 includes:
- Fitting of sample
- Reviewing proportions and design needs
- Fitting #2
- First fitting in your fabric
- Allowing for major changes as the different fabric from the sample can change the way it fits on your body.
- Fitting #3
- Fitting the final fabrication
- Trying the garment on with the undergarments, shoes, and accessories you plan to wear with it.
- Hemming and final touches
- Fitting #4
- Pick up
- Final fitting
- Minor alterations, if any, done while client is there
- Additional fittings may be required. Extra fittings, missed appointments, or last-minute rescheduling may incur additional fees. If your body changes after the first fitting, additional alterations or materials may be needed.
- Fitting #1 includes:
-
Production Timeline
- You will receive an estimated completion date at the start of the project.
- Changes to the design, additional fittings, or supply delays may affect the timeline. You will always be informed of anything that may shift delivery.
-
Pickup & Final Review
- At your final appointment, you will try on the finished garment for a last review. Minor adjustments may be completed if needed.
- If someone else picks up your garment, written permission is required. Once the garment leaves the studio, Fiona Rose LLC is not responsible for damage from transport, wear, wrinkling, or event day mishaps.
